For power tools, I'm not picky about any one particular brand, Any of the recommended brands below would be wonderful. The brands recommended to me/by me are Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Sears Industrial (Craftsman Pro), and Hitachi. Bosch is ok too. Brands to avoid are Black & Decker and Ryobi.
